Serenity is a very stylish one-bedroomed apartment, fully equipped and furnished, with a modern fitted kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower, contemporary sitting room and fantastic outside facilities. The situation of Serenity and Tranquility, the adjacent two-bedroomed apartment, is beautiful; very peaceful and perfect for a completely relaxing holiday. The properties are set in 2.5 acres of gardens with outstanding views over the almond and olive groves to the mountains, a backdrop of stunning scenery. There is a landscaped garden terrace/patio with swimming pool which is exclusively for the use of Serenity and Tranquility guests. Both properties have Wi Fi internet connection.
The properties are available for rental together (3 bedrooms sleeping 6/8 persons). The owners live in the neighbouring villa which does not overlook the apartments, patio or pool terrace and gardens. They are on hand if you require any advice about the local area, restaurants, etc. but will utterly respect your privacy.

Serenity is 40 minutes drive north west of Murcia city in countryside known as "Campo de Ricote", a scenic unspoilt area of traditional towns and villages nestling in the Sierra del Oro (Gold Mountains). The area is perfect for walking, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, canoeing and for the more relaxing pursuits of painting, birdwatching and fishing. There are many places of interest to explore locally and much opportunity to sample the local cuisine, regional dishes, tapas and wines. The area is a fruit growing area with an abundance of citrus, peach, apricot, cherry, almond as well as grapes for eating and making the local Ricote wine. The beaches of the Costa Calida are 75 minutes drive, Granada is 2 hours drive, whilst local places of interest such as the sanctuary of the Saint Esperanza at Calasparra are within 45 minutes drive. Car hire is essential although the owners can provide airport transfers/tailor made trips to local places of interest if you do not wish to drive.
Campo de Ricote - nestled in between the Sierra de Ricote and the Sierra del Oro mountain ranges has breathtaking scenery. Ideal for walking, cycling and mountain biking. The area is an artists' delight. It is a protected area for both flora and fauna which you can enjoy all year round. Around are the towns of Blanca, Cieza, Mula and Ricote. All have an "old quarter" , a weekly market selling fresh local produce, a sports centre, banks, restaurants and supermarkets and all within about 20 minutes by car.- What we think of this Property and Location as a Holiday Choice
If you want a peaceful haven in which to totally escape and relax, this is the place. Serenity and Tranquility are truly located in the real Spain. The guest comments are testament to the owners´ care and attention.

- Outside & Pool Facilities
The apartment opens on to an outside seating and dining patio terrace, east facing so perfect for sunny breakfasts and shady lunches. Outside summer kitchen with grill, BBQ and shaded eating area. A few steps from the patio to the pool terrace with surrounding landscaped and planted gardens. The swimming pool is 8 x 4 metres with roman steps and underwater lighting, sunloungers, a poolside shower and WC. The gardens are completely private and not overlooked and there are no neighbouring properties close by.

Stylishly furnished open plan sitting area with sofa, TV (Spanish Terrestrial channels), DVD player, DVD/CD/book collection for guest use, radio/CD player.

The owners can provide airport transfers/shopping trips, days out etc, details and prices on request. A guide of places to visit and local information is provided.
The swimming pool is available from 1 April (or Easter if earlier) until 31 October.
Wi Fi internet connection.- Cleaning, towels, linen, maid service:
Quality towels and linen are included and are changed weekly. Pool towels are provided. Welcome pack including tea, coffee, milk, water, juice, sugar, bread, spread, biscuits, eggs, toilet tissue, washing up liquid. Complimentary home grown fruit in season as available. The owners will meet you on arrival and can advise about the local area.
Security damages deposit £100 refundable within 10 days of departure.
Check in from 5pm, check out by 12 noon.
We can accept payment by credit card and by UK bank transfer.
A deposit of 25% of rental will secure your booking. Balance of rental plus security damages deposit is payable 8 weeks before arrival.
Any arrival day/departure day is possible (minimum 7 nights rental), subject to fitting in with other bookings in the diary. Part weeks are charged pro rata of the weekly rental rate.- Amenities/Facilities Provided

We came here for lots of rest (my friend for health reasons) and found the place very quiet (much quieter than at home). The apartment was very comfortable, with all the little things that you need and very clean. When we arrived in the evening, we found a good breakfast for the following morning. Shona and Fern are very friendly. Never did they bother us and I hope that we didn't bother them. They have a new impressive little dog, we think with a strong character. They have also an interesting and magnificent garden. A lovely place in a beautiful setting. It was exactly as it said on the website "tranquil". We have really liked the area and found it to be very friendly. It has been scorching hot and we probably haven't been to as many places as we would have liked but it has been great just sitting around in such a beautiful place. All is lovely and calm and Serenity carries its name well. A haven of peace in a wild and authentic region. An obscure part of Spain that we can only recommend. Just before the winter begins, we like to taste some sun and absorb some vitamins for our skins. For years Spain has been a good destination.
